Manager
Good Shepherd Medical Institute
445 Forest Square, Longview, TX 75605

Dear Manager,

I would very much appreciate the opportunity to work for the Institute as a personal trainer and will do whatever I can to benefit this great organization. I saw an advertisement for an opening when i was working out at the Institute recently and was interested in physical fitness and the working here.
I have experience in physical fitness and a degree in sports medicine and of course an interest in helping people be better athletes and getting their bodies exactly how they would like. I played sports in high school and went to college to learn how to make people faster and stronger.
If you are interested in hiring me or setting up an interview i can be reached at 903-975-2569 and can be called at any time.

Sincerely, Taylor

News Story 1
To determine whether to overturn principles decision on Slack’s hair, the school board will vote on Monday at 7pm to see if Slack’s hair is allowed or not.

‘’We have rules for a reason, and we just can’t go breaking them anytime we want.” At Leaguetown High School, they have rules that boys are not allowed to grow their hair past their ear lobes. Jim Stacks, a young boy who goes to Leaguetown High School, wants to grow his hair out and donate the cut off hair to a charity called Locks of Love, a nonprofit group that takes in donated hair and give it to kids who have been through cancer and have no more hair.

“Rules were made to be broken and this is a very good reason to break one.” Jim watched his 5-year old sister lose all of her hair last year during her chemotherapy treatment. After Jim saw what his sister went through, he wanted to grow his hair 10 inches and donate to Locks of Love so he could help out with kids who went through the same thing. When Jim finally donated to Locks of Love Jasmine Stack, Jim’s little sister was the lucky winner who got the wig to wear on her head.

“I’ve know the Stack family for about 20 years. They go to my church.” When Jim saw how happy Jasmine was, when she opened her box with her brand new wig, he knew from there that he had done something good that will make him feel like a good person. Jim knows he could’ve donated money, but he thought it would have just been easier if he just donated his hair like he did. Jim also wanted to do something different than all the other people who donate money instead of hair.

“But I’m told a lot of people donate money. Not very many donate hair.” Jim thought that it would be better and easier if he was to just donate hair rather than money. Jim thinks if he donates his hair he will encourage more people to donate theirs, especially boys, even if one of the school rules are boys can not want long hair, if Jim was allowed for that special reason than so should any other student.

Jim thinks this is a pretty big deal, and he really wants to encourage more and more people to do this. If more kids or adults donate and help out more people will be able to have the chance to have pretty hair like all the other people in this world who do.“After I reach my goal of 10 inches of hair, I hope i can Inspire more people in the town to grow their hair and donate it.”
